The Last Book started out as a search for the place of the reader in our current society. Theory was gradually converted into fiction, taking the shape of a film script. From the beginning Sabine Hillen’s writing process and the design process were intertwined. The result was a book that is soon to be adapted for the screen. The glossy image sections turn the story into a cinematic collage of popular magazine images. In collaboration with Marie Sledsens. Published by the Jan van Eyck Academy.
